Prenez Place – June 2nd to 5th 2017

A first for Avignon, a street festival celebrating visual and performing arts will be held in the city over Whit weekend. The event will bring together all forms of art in performances suitable for all audiences and will invite the public not only to attend the shows on offer but also to visit public spaces around the city, where they will be guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

Surikat Production has joined forces with 4 renowned artists to put together a high-calibre programme:
Pablito Zago (Le Cartel association) and Polo 51.67 (Produit Conforme) for the visual arts; Stéphane LAFARGUE (King Size Company) and Kevin LAVAL (Raoul Lambert) for the performing arts. Especially for the occasion, the Parking des Italiens will be transformed into a multi-purpose venue with open-air entertainment, performances on stage and in marquees, jam sessions, a funfair, visual and creative expression walls, etc. In addition, a number of events will be held right across the Avignon region and a number of murals will be created by professional street artists.
