After more than twenty years traveling the world to source herbs, spices, and dried fruits, Olivier has finally achieved his dream: finding a place to welcome travelers from all over the world. Thanks to Laurence, a real estate agent with a passion for Provence, we discovered the perfect home, “Les Jardins de Baracane”.

Together, we invite you to experience something authentic, where you will feel at home, yet far away. Our shared passion for this region drives us to create memories, share emotions, and make your stay unforgettable.

“An oasis in the heart of Avignon”

“Les Jardins de Baracane” is a charming guesthouse nestled in a quiet area in the heart of Avignon, featuring a garden and a pool.

Our home received the International Green Key certification in 2024 in recognition of our commitment to sustainable tourism.

This 17th-century residence is located within the city walls, just a 5-minute walk from the central train station, 10 minutes from the Palais des Papes, and close to Place des Corps Saints, numerous cafes and restaurants, charming boutiques, traditional markets, and the vibrant Festival with its many theaters.

Located from the first to the third floor of the residence, each air-conditioned room has its own charm and authentic character: terracotta floors, tiles or cement tiles, old beams, arched windows, and interior shutters. They combine comfort and privacy with private bathrooms (shower or bathtub, sink, and toilet).

On the shelves or tucked into cozy corners, we have left books for you to enjoy, sharing our tastes and curiosities.

Breakfast is simply perfect, with high-quality products, delicious honey, excellent bread, all carefully selected... But it would be remiss not to mention Olivier and Laurence, the owners, who are absolutely wonderful — both attentive and discreet, making this place truly magical!
