FAQ – Frequently asked questions
>>> Is breakfast included?
A hot drink and pastry option is offered.
If you would like a more complete breakfast (hot drinks, a buffet of local and seasonal products, artisan breads, fruits, honey, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, homemade cake…), served at a dressed table in the garden, the cost is €15 per person.
>>> Can I check-in at 11 pm?
Our guest house has only 5 rooms; it is not a hotel. It is a small establishment where only my wife and I handle the reception. We welcome guests until 8 pm without any difficulty. For a check-in after 8 pm, please consult us in advance, and we will always find a solution.
>>> Can I check out at noon?
Check-out is by 11 am at the latest.
If you wish to enjoy the town or the house a bit longer, no problem! Just remove your belongings from the room so our team can work and prepare the room for our next guests.
>>> Is it possible to check in before 2 pm ?
Yes, of course. Please let us know in advance. Your room may not be ready yet, but we will welcome you and take care of your luggage.
>> Can cars drive into Rue Baracane ?
No! Be careful, Rue Baracane is a dead-end. Do not drive into the street, please.
>>> Do you have secure parking ?
Yes, we can offer you a private and secure parking space located 100 meters from the house at the rate of €18 per day.
>>> Can I come by bike?
Cyclists are welcome. We have a private and secure shelter for storing bikes.
>>> Do I need a car to visit the city ?
Absolutely not! We are located in the city centre. You can explore Avignon on foot. There are many restaurants nearby. The Palais des Papes is a 15-minute walk through the pedestrian zone.
You can also take the train to Arles (15 minutes), Isle-sur-Sorgue (25 minutes), Nîmes (30 minutes)… or enjoy a bike ride along the Via Rhôna or the Canal Path.
You might rent a car to visit the Luberon, Ventoux, or the Alpilles, for example or organize a tour with one of the guides we work with.
>>> Can I bring my pet ?
Unfortunately not. Our cat doesn’t like to share. Therefore, we reserve the garden exclusively for her.
>>> Is the pool open to the public ?
No, the pool is strictly reserved for our guests who can enjoy it from 8 AM to 10 PM.
>>> Do you have a lift ?
No, we live in a 17th-century house where it is not possible to install a lift. Please travel as light as possible. 🙂
We will help you with your luggage if necessary.
>>> Is the pool heated ?
No, we live in a region with very mild temperatures and in a world that is warming. We must be responsible and contribute to more sustainable tourism for the benefit of all.
