Les Jardins de Baracane make an exception here … we will take you a little beyond the lands of the Papal City to present you an artist, our artist of heart: Louise Cara. Louise is a friend, it’s true; but it has become so first because her art has brought us together. Because the strength of her expression is such that she conquered us. Louise is a character, a pride, a modesty … a mix of power and sweetness. An interweaving of matter, depth, mysticism and beauty.

From then on, you will understand that we choose to tell you about her … her exhibition at the Château de Gordes and these wonderful evenings that will punctuate the time dedicated to an artist who can not leave you indifferent.

From June 1st to July 28th, Terres de Lumière, from the line to the route is the opportunity to browse the work of Louise in this castle perched at the top of the village of Gordes, on the Monts du Vaucluse, facing the Luberon. These blessed lands of the gods who welcome tourists from all over the world, but which mostly rekindle aesthetes, will be Louise’s haven for this summer.

Also come to hear the readings of Serge Barbuscia, director of the Théâtre du Balcon, actor and director. He will say the lextes of the book of Louise Cara, Carnets de mots, workshop primer on June 5 and 19 at 19h accompanied by Farshad Soltani, Iranian musician.

Philippe Spinosi, baroque guitar and Anne Garance Fabre, known as Garus, viola da gamba created the Una Stella ensemble. They will be accompanied by Maya Villanueva, lyrical soprano and will offer together a musical sharing, an echo to Lands of Light, June 25 at 19h.

Finally, Abdelsam Raji and Mudra Yumma, choreic artists, from a setting in duet dance, their movements, their bodies will enter sensory resonance during a stroll on June 29 at 17:30.
