Avignon in autumn : an art Tohu-Bohu

From October 5 to 20, walking through the streets of the city of Avignon, more than 10,000 visitors had the privilege in 2018 to discover the architectural and artistic wealth of the papal city.

The Parcours de l’Art is a festival of contemporary art which presents for its 25th edition 35 artists in 10 heritage sites in Avignon. This event for all audiences will also be enriched by a varied cultural program (conferences, screenings, shows, artistic workshops, etc.).

Allowing the roaming and the discovery of often unknown places, it proposes the works of 35 artists of today chosen for the diversity and the quality of their practices in a merry Tohu-Bohu.

This year, let us go to the source of the great original disorder, go back to the beginnings of creation, to the essence of all things and also to art.

From the Cloister Saint Louis to the unknown Miracle Chapel or the Theater Benoit XII, the Calvet Museum, the Petit Palais, the Roure Palace, the Jean Vilar House, the Cordeliers Chapel, the Forbin la Barben Hotel … all these places open and offer tours, conferences and workshops. It is an association supported by 90 volunteers.
