From June 2 to November 15, 2020, the Lambert Collection is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its presence in Avignon.<\/p>\n For the occasion, the collector chooses 13 artists to each of whom he assigns an entire room of the H\u00f4tel de Caumont, a historic building opened on June 27, 2000 to host this museum project that was unprecedented in the French artistic landscape. The place left to each will allow to reaffirm the richness of the collection preserved in the papal city and to offer the public the opportunity to enter, room after room, into the universe of a major artist in the collection.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n This new involvement of the collector will mark the starting point of an annual series of exhibitions organized through his eyes.<\/p>\n The exhibition offers a special look at the work of Nan Goldin, whose considerable collection preserved in Avignon is presented for the first time in its entirety.
